What is EDP / EDT / EDC? How should you use perfume.

What is EDP / EDT / EDC? How should you use perfume.

EDP, EDT and EDC are abbreviations for the Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette and Eau de Cologne.
It describes the scent concentration perfume has. EdP contains 10-30% fragrance mix, EDT and EDC 5-20% 2-5%. In addition to these, there are also Parfum (perfume extract) containing 20-40% fragrance mix.
As a rule, tend to say that the higher the concentration, the higher the intensity and duration are there in the manufactured perfume.
Of course, also plays the quality of aroma oils a major role. A natural oil of good quality keeps the scent on the skin for a longer time than a synthetic oil produced does. Also note that the EDP and EDT the same perfume often smells different from each other depending on the amount of oil contained in the perfume.
EDT has a lower concentration of oils and is often cheaper than one EdP is, it does not mean that one EDT always have a weaker scent, it all depends on what fragrance notes to use.

Do not spray perfume on clothes - the real fragrance arrives as it reaches the warm complexion.

If you have dry skin, it can be difficult to get a scent to last, then it is good to buy a body lotion in the same scent. For the fact is that an oiled skin is more susceptible to the scent.

Good places to apply your perfume is behind the jaw, armpits, wrists and even the knees! Each time you move the arms, head and legs, the smell to spread so that everyone knows it. It is said that vibrant places is best to apply scent.

How to get a perfume to smell all day?
Spray a layer of perfume on a greased skin. Add some powder / talc on top or a little more cream. Then spray again when the smell permeates the front in small puffs during the day.

Do not overdose! It is much more pleasant for the environment to feel a hint of a scent. Even though you are not aware of it so do others there.

When you read about a perfume is described in the top note, middle note and base note, what does that mean?
The top notes or head notes of a fragrance is secreted immediately when you spray your perfume. It is these that are important in the sale of a perfume. Top notes consist of small, light molecules that evaporate quickly but creates the first impression.
Middle notes or heart notes occur just before the top notes disappear. To their characters are typically "round" and "rich". Lavender, orange blossom, jasmine, almond and rose are some elements that may be contained within the notes. These will also hide the bass notes that can sometimes be quite unpleasant.
The base, together with the notes of the main theme of the perfume, its depth and firmness. Components of the bass notes are often fixativor used to maintain and strengthen the lighter top and middle notes. They consist of large, heavy molecules that evaporate slowly, and come to light after a half hour or while the perfume dries the skin. Some base notes can still be felt a day after the perfume is applied, particularly in the field of animal notes. Besides animal base notes like musk, moss, vanillin, sandalwood, tonka bean, incense and moss typical aromas from the bass notes.
