Can Makeup Expire

There is much money we spend on our beauty products, it's hard to let it go, but at some point, your makeup gets unhealthy for your skin and eyes.
This is especially true for something that will be applied around the eyes, so it is important to clean out your makeup drawer sometime now and then.

Mascara and liquid eyeliner - 3 to 4 months
Foundation and concealer - six months to a year
Lipstick and gloss - 12 to 18 months
Lip pencils and eyeliners -18 to 24 months of sharpened regularly
Eye Shadows - 12 to 18 months
Nail - 2 years
Remember that organic, natural cosmetics can have an even shorter shelf life, and make sure to clean your brushes regularly because they can harvest bacteria.
